You pirates seem to forget.. those 5-15 seconds make the difference between life and death for us MWD users.
Don't forget.. by having them on we get -50% shield capacity (and still have a long recharge time) and -25% capacitor (still with the standard recharge).
Now you want an extra 5-15 seconds? What for.. oh yea. you want time becuase that's all it'll take for us MWD users to be blow away (and possibly poded too). _________________________________________________

Quote: The only reason you were able to activate anything during warp up to this time was to give you a chance to use self-defense modules when the warp away from a location took too long to kick in and you couldn't use your weapons back at npc pirates.
The shield booster and shield hardener modules can still be used during warp to solve this problem.
With how MWD is now, it's very much a self-sefense module.
Actually, MWD is more of a self-defense module than Shield Bosters and Shield Hardners. Those come in handy in combat, MWD just hurts a ships combat. _________________________________________________

I can see the pirate corps now wetting themselves waiting for this patch to go live as is.
Pirate corps?? They're not the only ones...
I'm most likely going to go pirate if this actually comes to pass! _________________________________________________

Gate camping will already receive (a needed) added level of difficulty due to the fact that you cant' just jump through the gate to escape. So 'nerfing' MWD in this manner wont' make gate camping easier than it is now.
Not eaiser, just much, much more productive for you pirates. After all, 2 ships will now be able to stop everybody they run into.
You all can sit here and say what you want about this patch hurting pirating (etc, etc) , but I'm saying this now: This patch will massivly increase the amount of piracy. Prices for rare minerals will also skyrocket.

Also, Ulstan, your signature says "Risk vs. Reward".
Might I ask how you have been rewared? And what risk is there for you? _________________________________________________
